EDITOR’S NOTE: Congrats to the Gemster who was the star of the Channel 5 news last night. She also took most of the pictures you see in the media of the window washer incident in Boston yesterday.
I’m introducing a new type of blog entry today. It is called the “Top 7″ and it is a list of seven of my favorite things. I’ll try to do a “Top 7″ every once in a while.
Why seven, you ask?
Well, it is my favorite number. If you’ve been following along, you know I’m a little crazy when it comes to numerology. My inaugural list will consist of my “Top 7″ favorite places to ponder stuff. The self-proclaimed “consummate over-thinker” needs places to overthink, right? If I ever have some important (ok – important to me) stuff to think about, you can probably find me at one of the following locales.
Without further ado, my “Top 7″ pondering places…
1) Point Gammon Light, Great Island – One of my favorite places ever, this one goes without saying. I’ve waxed poetic enough about this place.

2) Long Wharf, Boston (very end) – Long Wharf is my Zen place. Also, the site where a scene from The Departed was filmed.

3) Memorial Drive, Cambridge – One of the best views of the city. There are benches all along the Charles River which serve as great places to ponder the wonder of it all.

4) Fenway Park, Boston – A place to get lost in the game and leave your troubles at the turnstile.

5) Gillette Stadium (a.k.a. “The Blade”) Section 325, Row 1, Seat 1, Foxboro – The epitome of fall in New England. Also, the home of my autumnal family.

6) Tavern on the Water, Charlestown – Also one of my favorite bars in the city.

And last but never least, everybody’s favorite…
7) The Can, Pleasantville – You know what I’m saying.
